So a few months ago I was listening to 'How I Feel', a track off Kelly Clarkson's 'My December' and sketched out a very quick idea. I liked the general gist but the doodles were awful. Anyway, fast-forward a few weeks and Ireland had just crashed out of the Rugby World Cup and, for some reason, rather than hurl stuff around the room in anger, I decided to finally have a proper go at drawing this. After an hour or so I liked the bits, but they didn't fit together in anything resembling a nice composition. I coloured on regardless and ended up with a colour palette that was 'icky'. So I abandoned it. I still liked it, but I knew to do it justice I'd have to re-colour it, and I'd already spent ages on the first pass so the thought of re-doing it made me cringe.

Anyway, I dove into it again today and I finished it I'm quite pleased though I imagine that long hours at a screen and sleep deprivation are helping the pic look better right now LOL.

Phew! That's the longest description I think I've ever typed and the funny thing is that my hands are shaking like Bejaysus right now. I have no idea why and maybe I should be worried but oh well...
